I have a very good friend who is one of the most beautiful girls I have ever seen. She is tall, incredibly fit and has a pair of killer lips. Yet, she is not completely happy. She keeps complaining about her hair. In fact, she hates it.
Her hair is really thin and limp (well, you can’t really have it all, can you?), it has no bounce or volume and is really tough to style. She has been buying tons of rollers that promised to crank up her hair’s volume, curling irons that were supposed to give her hair an instant push up with a twist, treatments and secret potions that in the end were just money down the drain.
My friend was more and more depressed, and her strands kept hanging without a purpose. Her self-esteem dropped to zero and the confidence in her great looks disappeared completely. Eventually, her boyfriend left her because she had become too hysterical and paranoid. And I became her shoulder to cry on.
This hair issue had been a nerve –wrecking problem until I found the perfect solution for her: fusion hair extensions! Sure, why didn’t we think about it before?
She went to a professional stylist and decided to go with fusion bonding. He practically separated strands of her hair and bonded to her scalp thin hair extensions with a protein glue bond. She was told to properly take care of her ‘new hair’ and avoid oil based hair products or heated styling tools that would only weaken her pretty bonds.
Magic! There she was with a va-va-voom head of hair (and an instant confidence boost). She even started dating again, which I considered a blessing. Finally my right shoulder stopped being wet and salty.
