Beautiful Hair Round the Clock
We are creatures of habit. A lot of us have the same routine each day when it comes to our hair: we wash it in the morning then we wrap it up in the evening or sometimes just lie down and call it a day. Seems simple enough, right?
Well, what we fail to pay attention to is all the stress that our hair goes through in just a day’s work. It is constantly met with pollutants, harsh weather, and not to mention the constant abuse that we give our hair just to make it do what we want and this causes or hair to suffer and become limp or damaged.
So here is a simple guide that I have created that will help your hair maintain its health and look beautiful throughout the day.
Wash and Go
Healthy hair begins by keeping it clean and conditioned. Choose the right shampoos and conditioners for your hair to help it maintain its luster. Also be sure that you brush your hair regularly in order to bring forth the natural oils that make the hair shiny.
Help your hair stay moisturized
The hair should always be fully hydrated. Remember that frizz, split ends and tangles in the hair all begin with it being dry. It is a good idea to always carry a leave-in conditioner or hair polisher that will bring back the life in your hair. Another fantastic yet simple way to keep moisture in the hair is to drink plenty of water, it really does the trick!
Treat your hair good
Regularly treat your hair with subtle anti-damage solutions. These are usually done once a week and the products can be bought in a drugstore for a reasonable price. It may take a little time but it will be worth it in the end. As long as you follow the instructions, you can be sure that your hair is ready to take on anything!
Cut and Dry
To keep your hair beautiful all day long, you may have to cut down on the hair drying and ironing. While these things may make your hair look good for a while, the long-term effect is dry and brittle hair that causes split ends which are not a good look! Consider wrapping your hair and creating pin curls for natural bounce. In addition, never be shy about clipping your broken ends. This will help eliminate split ends and your hair will look neat and healthy.
Style and Profile
Good hairstyling is the key ingredient to have beautiful hair ‘round the clock. Know your natural texture and the style that best suit you. If your hair is naturally curly then wear it that way; if you are born with it, then rock out! Add color to give a little panache.
I hope that this helps. When in doubt, speak with your professional stylist because they are your hair’s best friend or ask me anything!
